One Office Visit, One Problem Policy
We appreciate and understand that patients occasionally will have multiple complaints – knee, hip, ankle, shoulder, etc. However, in order to provide the highest quality care possible, we attempt to focus on only one problem at a particular office visit. We would rather do an outstanding job evaluating and treating one problem than do a lousy job trying to evaluate multiple problems at once! If you have multiple complaints, we will ask you to pick the one that you would like to focus on during that office visit.
Yes, there are many times when problems may be interrelated. For example, your hip pain may actually be coming from your back, or your shoulder pain may be coming from your neck or thoracic spine. But otherwise, we do encourage setting up a separate appointment to evaluate your other complaints.
